Ms.T. Weerasena
Chairperson
Ms. T. Weerasena succeeded Mr. Arthur Samarasekera, President’s Counsel, who took over duties from Rear Admiral Rajan Kadirgamar upon the retirement of Mr.Justin Siriwardene – the Company’s Founder Chairman/Managing Director.
Ms. Weerasena holds a Degree of Bachelor of Applied Arts from the Canberra College of Advanced Education (presently University of Canberra), Australia. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism in Developing Countries and was awarded the Gold Medal in 1977 bv the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, India.
S. Sivasupramaniam
Managing Director
An Advocate of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka by Profession, Mr. Sivasupramaniam is a former State Counsel of the Attorney General’s Department of Sri Lanka. He is also the holder of a Post Graduate Diploma in Administration from the Canberra College of Advanced Education, Australia (presently University of Canberra).
Mr. Sivasupramaniam joined Chatham House Ltd in 1978 as its Managing Director and has been involved with the company in this capacity since then. He succeeded Mr.D.J.Siriwardene, his father-in-law and founder Chairman/Managing Director of Chatham House (Pvt) Ltd.
Ms. R.T.Sivasupramaniam
Director
Ms. R.T.Sivasupramaniam joined the Directorate of Chatham House (Pvt) Ltd in 1974 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since. As a student of the Canberra College of Higher Education, Australia (presently University of Canberra), she followed a course in Bachelor of Applied Arts, with a major in Secretarial Studies.
Mr. D.R. Pullaperuma
Director
BSc(Eng), CEng, FIE(SL), MBA(Utility Management) Ireland.
An Electrical Engineer by profession, specialized in Electronics and telecommunications, Mr. D.R.Pullaperuma was initially attached to the communication branch of the Ceylon Electricity Board specializing in PLC communication and Supervisory and Data Acquisition systems (SCADA) before diverting to other disciplines in Engineering. He served the Ceylon Electricity Board for a period of 34 years before retiring as its General Manager in 2008. Prior to joining Chatham House (Pvt) Ltd as an Advisor to the Engineering Division, Mr. Pullaperuma also served as the Chairman of the National Engineering, Research and Development Centre of Sri Lanka from 2OO9-2O13.
Mr. N.F.G.P. AthukoroIa
Director
Mr. N.F.G.P.Athukorala joined the Board in January 2020 and currently functions as the General Manager, Human Resources at Mercantile Investments & Finance PLC. In addition to his specialization in the field of Leadership Development and Training, Mr. Athukorala has extensive working experience in the Banking and Financial Service Sector, having served at HSBC Sri Lanka for 23 years.
Mr. Athukorala holds a MBA from the University of Wales, UK and has also successfully completed an Executive Coaching Programme conducted by the International Coaching Federation (lCF), USA. He is also a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming(NLP) Business Practitioner.
Ms. S.G. Athukorola
Director
Ms. S.G. Athukorala graduated from the University of Durham, United Kingdom, with an LL.B (Hons.) Degree and is a Barrister from the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London. She is also an Attornev-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. Prior to joining Chatham House (Pvt) Ltd in September 2013, she worked initially in the capacity of a Legal Consultant and subsequently as Advisor(Legal Protection of Children) at Save the Children, Sri Lanka – an lnternational Non-Government Organization – from 2005-2013.
